Christine Highland, a Tonbridge based artist, has long had a fascination with lines, patterns and latterly cartography.
These passions have collided within her work to result in finely patterned intricately hand-drawn maps of real places creating
a contemporary look to an ancient art form.

Aside from her map work she enjoys the freedom of choice that is a key player in her work. She prefers to vary the medium she works in which makes for a very eclectic mix.
